Certified Meditation Practitioner

I spent a number of years working in high-end skincare clinics in and around London. This taught me that aesthetics and skin care rituals aren't just about surface-level beauty; they are a journey of self-care and self-love. By nurturing our skin, we cultivate a deeper connection with ourselves, fostering confidence and mindfulness.

Through sitting my Jay Shetty life coaching certification, I became equipped with transformative tools to guide individuals toward purposeful living. I learnt life-changing techniques to cultivate resilience, purpose and clarity, empowering others to unlock their fullest potential.

Most recently, I became a certified Meditation practitioner with Efficient Coaching. This educated me in the disciplines of guided meditation, deep breathing, visualisation, mindfulness, self-awareness, progressive muscle relaxation, channelling focus, finding harmony and more.

My Story

As a British-born Indian, from as young as I can remember, I was surrounded by white British people.

It was only when I reached a certain age that I truly noticed the difference between myself and my peers. I realised just how different I was expected to behave, and I was suddenly confronted with major cultural clashes. [Coincidently, this is what later led to me writing a book all about 'cultural grooming'!]

At this age, I found for the first time that I was faced with restriction and major inner conflict.

Even so, I was one of many of a South Asian background that felt pressured into marriage at a very early age, and felt fear about what my future may hold.

Because of this, I spent many years battling my mind about how desperately different I wanted life to be. Piece by piece, I felt I was withering in defeat of those around me. It was as though I was a passenger in my own existence.

These repressed feelings spread and evolved, eventually turning to anger that sprouted from fear and frustration that I may be seen as a 'failure'. Feeling not good enough had transformed me into an exhausted people-pleaser, desperate for acceptance at any cost.

Throughout all of this, there was a part of me that wanted saving. This is when I began learning all about the impact of a supportive guide, and witnessing quite how much influence and power we have within us to make changes to our external world.

It’s taken me years to understand and finally break free, but my goodness, the journey has been worth it. I know first hand that the feeling of not having control can spiral to a point of profound disconnection, but with help, bit by bit, I promise that you can triumph.

I am now a proud, independent single mother confidently balancing work, parenting, and other responsibilities on my own.  It is challenging, empowering and, I feel, truly remarkable when I look back on where I began.

I feel passionately about helping others reach a similar phase of peace and contentment - whatever that may look like for you.

This is just my journey; I'd love to hear all about yours...
